Have we hit the bottom with Seattle real estate prices? Can’t say. Nobody can really declare this except in retrospect. What we do know is that area prices have trended upwards. NWMLS just released their sales figures for May. In King County the median price for a home (single family and condos combined) was $324.997 in May 2012 compared to $316,740 in May 2011. For Snohomish County change was even larger. The median price for a home was $245,000 in May 2012 compared to $230,000 in May 2011. Pending sales are up too, homes are selling faster and we still have unseasonably low inventory of homes on the market. Want to see all the numbers?
